Hiring a Car at Wellington Airport

Our convenient Wellington Airport car rentals address is 5 Tauhinu Road, Miramar – only 2kms from the airport. We’re open 7 days a week from 8.00 am to 5 pm.

Picking up Your Wellington Airport Rental Car

Collecting your Wellington Airport rental car is easy. Our free shuttle bus takes you directly from Wellington Airport to our depot, where your rental car will be ready and waiting.

If you’re arriving after hours (if travelling internationally please allow 1hr to clear customs), please notify us by email at least the day before your arrival in Wellington.  A contract will need to be pre-signed and a parking fee of up to $36 incurred when you exit the carpark. From selected hotels close to Wellington Airport (and subject to availability), we can arrange for a representative from our Wellington car rental team to collect you and bring you to our depot to uplift your hire car.  We provide this service free of charge, and pickup should be organised prior to the day of your car hire collection. Please phone (04) 388 4337 to make arrangements.

Dropping Off Your Rental Car

Returning your vehicle to Omega Car Rentals at Wellington Airport is just as easy.  Return your vehicle to our depot and we’ll shuttle you straight over to the airport terminal for you to catch your flight home.

Please note that returning your car outside office hours will incur a parking fee of NZ$36.
