Our Auckland Airport Rental Car Depot

Just a five-minute drive from the airport building, our Auckland Airport car hire depot can be found at 3 Kingsford Smith Place, Mangere. Our Auckland Airport car rentals depot is open seven days a week. From 23 Mar to October 31, our office hours are 7 am to 5.00 pm. For the remainder of the year, our office hours extend until 7 pm.

Once booked, your car rental will be confirmed via email. Give us a call when you’re ready to be picked up, and we’ll have a shuttle bus waiting for you upon exit of the terminal. When you collect your Auckland Airport car rental, we’ll give you an information-packed travel guide and a road atlas. You can also hire a GPS to help you get to your destination hassle-free.

Picking up your Auckland Airport Rental Car

We offer our customers a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to our Auckland Airport rental car depot. Contact us at least the day before collection, and we’ll organise the rest.

For car rental at Auckland Airport, please let us know if you’re arriving outside our office hours. Email us in advance as we require a contract to be pre-signed. Arrival outside usual office hours will incur a carpark exit fee of NZ$45.

During normal office hours, call us on our toll-free number once you’ve collected your bags and one of our Omega staff members will meet you with our free shuttle bus.

Auckland Airport Hotel Pickups

Omega Rental Cars can provide (subject to availability) for a representative to collect you from selected hotels near Auckland Airport and bring you to our depot to collect your hire car.

This should be arranged prior to the day of your rental car collection. Hire car returns outside office hours can also be arranged, with a parking fee of $45 being incurred.

Dropping Off Your Rental Car

You can drop off and pick up our hire cars at the same location - simply return to our Auckland Airport branch at 3 Kingsford Smith Place. 

Please note that returning a car after hours incurs a $45 after hours parking fee.
